The moon shines upon your eyes revealing depths unfathomable
and shines through your obsidian hair with utter abandon.
Is it me or is your skin the alabaster that inspired the Greeks
being a goddess of beauty and wisdom to all that behold.
Whereas your are the proverbial thief in the night to me
as you have stolen the heart that beats within my body.
I am not sure of my worthiness for your attentions
but I try with all I have for you to adjudicate in my favor.
I am but a lonely servant to your desires with only one intention
which is to ensure your wishes and desires are met without intervention.

Am I a Fool
October 20th, 2008 · No Comments
Am I a fool to want so badly
A woman who knows so little of me
Am I an idiot to give so quickly
Afraid that she might not like me
I may be a fool sadly
but I am a better oneĀ for her knowing me

To her, she does not know how she affects me
My will disappears into the deep pools of her eyes
Thoughts disappear and only she races through my mind
My days are filled with the anticipation of my seeing her
I know I should not feel this way, but I do not care
Am I a fool. Am I a slave. Or will she set my soul free
On the scales of Justice, my merits must be wieghed
But she shall be the final arbiter of what I may be.

Anticipation

To anticipate an action, I feel no remorse.
To anticipate a feeling, I have no control.
To ancipate a meeting, I my fear exudes.
My hope is all anticpation comes true.
